Entering free by post
Every paid competition on this site can also be entered free by post. Postal entries go into the same draw, with the same kind of ticket number, and have exactly the same chance of winning as an entry somebody paid for. There is no separate prize pool and no smaller prize. As with entering online, you need an account with us, so we have somewhere to put your entry. Creating an account is free.
What to send
On an unenclosed postcard, please write:
- Your full name and address
- The email address on your account, so we can add the entry to it
- The name of the competition you are entering
- Your answer to that competition’s question, if it asks one
Any question is on the competition’s own page. Where there is one, a postcard with no answer, or with the wrong answer, cannot be entered, exactly as a paid entry cannot.
Where to send it
Island Competitions57 Seaview RoadCowesIsle of WightPO31 7UNThe rules
- One entry per postcard, and one postcard per envelope. Multiple entries in one envelope count as one.
- Your postcard has to reach us before the competition closes. Posting it before the closing date is not enough on its own.
- Postal entries count towards the same per-person limit as paid entries on the same competition.
- We cannot return postcards, and we are not responsible for post that does not arrive.
